If you often feel like you’re “failing” to reach a writing goal, make the goal smaller so that you can consistently achieve it. Once you find your achievable goal, don’t miss it. And when you have time, write more so that you can build a reservoir of blog posts (or newsletters or Facebook posts) to make more space in your life.
Feeling like you’re constantly failing at writing for your business will not help you write more often. It will do the opposite, and I don’t want that to happen. As others have said: Done is better than perfect. And I’ll add: A short piece of writing is better than nothing at all.
